In my previous career, I worked on the University of Calgary’s nation-leading sustainability program, including the development of the university’s award-winning zero-waste strategy, and institutional systems for managing sustainability data.

My formal education is in economics.

For the last few years I’ve volunteered for The Calgary Foundation, sitting on one of the Grant Advisory Committees. It’s been a tremendous privilege.

I like making cocktails and started a pop-up cocktail bar called Sugar Water which does events throughout the city.

Back in my student days at the University of Calgary, I co-founded the Bike Root a community bike shop which is open to students, staff and community members alike.
